The University of Applied Arts Vienna is
looking for a University Assistant (m/f/d, 20 hours a week, fixed-term contract until September 30, 2029)
for the department of Architectural Design 1.
The department is seeking a candidate with extensive experience
in artistic design instruction, as well as proven experience in the practical preparation of publications, who actively contributes
to the studio’s ongoing work.
Employment requirements:
· Completed, professionally
qualifying degree in architecture (Master)
· Many years of continuous international university teaching experience
in architectural design
· Demonstrated expertise in publication preparation, including editorial editing and
the organisation of production processes
· Excellent English language skills at level C1 (teaching language English)
Area
of Responsibility:
· Independent teaching and conducting courses
· Supervising and mentoring
student projects
· Developing and promoting the arts
· Organizational and administrative tasks esp.
of publications
· On-site presence and teamwork in Vienna
Qualifications:
· Substantial
experience in independently guiding students in the development of architectural design questions relating to social, environmental
and economic issues
· Expertise in gender and diversity issues
· Organisational and social skills
· Flexibility
and adaptability
The minimum monthly salary for this position is currently € 1,888.05 gross
(14x per year for 20 hours per week) and may be increased by taking into account previous work experience in accordance with
the collective agreement for universities (B1, salary scheme for scientific/artistic university staff). Depending on education
and professional experience, an upgrade and overpayment is possible.
